The most important thing you can do when preparing to list is to declutter your home!
That means different things to different people and may seem overwhelming at first.
Your goal is to create an inviting atmosphere when buyers enter your home.
A tidy, well organized home creates a peaceful environment, makes the home seem larger, and lets the buyer feel confident
that it has been well maintained.
You will want to depersonalize your home and have minimal decor...especially seasonal items.
Remember that once you decide to list your home it is a product for sale and you want to highlight all its good features.
Even though you most probably will continue to live in it during the selling process, you don't want it to have that lived in look.
